In 1991 in United Kingdom, the first band that takes this stile of music and showed it to the world, to later make it commercial was Nirvana, then the Strokes, White Stripes, Cold Play, Stone Temple Pilots, etc.
At the present day, there are many bands from many countries, but most of the best and extraordinary bands are Audioslave, Pearl Jam, Incubus.
Audioslave has the perfect characteristic of been agressive, strongh lyrics, a great mix between the voice and the guitars, with the most powerfull drums. A little bit hard rock a little bit grunge sometimes.
Pearl Jam its a little bit agressive too, but more deep than the rest of the bands and with a great melody, the singer gives tha actitude and the guitar is the soul of the band. A great influence for this band were the ramones, the punk and the rock.
Incubus its more romantic and sometimes sad like audioslave, this band its kind of diferent when talking about feelings, a diferent point of view, quiet and simple, but wonderfull. Influenced by Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Deep Purple , the jazz and the funk.
Sentimentally this type of music has some balance is sad and romantic, and sometimes strong and weak but very deep and powerfull.
At the present day this kind of music is anywhere, because the music is a symbol of the feelings, thoughts and dreams It doesn't mater the culture, country and languague, the beat its the same, Strong!
